Through this work, we emphasize narratives that reimagine who are experts on immigrant justice, economic security, and a stronger democracy and encourage policymakers and other advocates to join us in campaigns for systemic change.

In December 2021, NBC Los Angeles covered the story of our client Brian Bukle who spent 36 days at the Mesa Verde ICE Processing Facility before the government acknowledged his U.S. citizenship and released him. Brian’s story underscored the need to pass the VISION Act, which would have ended California's inhumane ICE transfer policy.
