Update: We are postponing our 52nd Anniversary Gala to Spring 2025 in solidarity with SF hotel workers!

52nd Anniversary Gala - Postponed to Spring 2025

September 5, 2024 News

The Asian Law Caucus is excited to celebrate 52 years of fighting with Asian American and Pacific Islander communities for civil rights and systemic change that builds a more just and inclusive society.

September 5, 2024 Update: In solidarity with San Francisco hotel workers’ current advocacy for good jobs and fair pay, we have decided to postpone our 52nd Anniversary Gala to Spring 2025.

Our Gala was previously scheduled for September 27, 2024 at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square.

This past August, the contract for hospitality workers at numerous San Francisco hotels, including Hilton San Francisco Union Square, expired, and thousands of hotel workers launched a three-day strike during Labor Day weekend.

At ALC, we are proud that our staff members are part of a union and that we provide free, in-language legal services to working people throughout San Francisco and California to help them build a better life for their families. We believe strongly that all of us, no matter where we were born or which languages we speak, deserve safety, security, and respect at work.

In an affirmation of these values, we have postponed our gala to Spring 2025.

Please stay tuned for more details on the new date and venue.

In the meantime, learn more about our honorees, speaker, sponsors, donors, and more on our 52nd Anniversary Gala event landing page.
